Bus service permits (Permit Perkhidmatan)
In addition to the operator licence and vehicle licence, every bus operation requires a Permit Perkhidmatan — a Service Permit — issued by APAD.
The Service Permit defines:
- The operational zone or route
- Approved stops (for Stop Bus class)
- Fare structure (where applicable)
- Schedule conditions
Operating outside the conditions of the Service Permit is a breach of licence terms.
