Operator responsibilities after licensing

Once licensed, every operator must:

  1. Keep vehicles safe and well-maintained — meet roadworthiness standards at all times.
  2. Comply with the conditions of the licence — approved routes, schedules, fares, and operational zones.
  3. Adhere to the Land Public Transport Act 2010 (Act 715) and all subsidiary regulations.
  4. Cooperate with APAD enforcement on inspections, audits, and reporting requests.

Failure to meet these obligations may trigger enforcement action.
